In The Community

Mike, owner and CEO of BMW BUILDERS believes in giving back the community on many levels. Whether it’s just donating his time on weekends to local charities or giving tens of thousands of dollars in support of children in the inner city, his heart is to put others first.

He is on the board at ABC Youth Foundation, an after school boxing and tutoring center for inner city kids. BMW BUILDERS has annual back to school food drives which brings in months of food for the kids at the center. (abcyouthfoundation.org)

He has been a big brother for 25 years with the Big Brother Big Sister Foundation, currently matched with his 8th little brother! They enjoy going to sporting events, woodworking and boating around Mission Bay.

Being a part of Nice Guys of San Diego, Mike is able to meet a variety of people from different backgrounds with the same focus in mind: Family. The majority of the money they raise goes to help families who have somehow “fallen through the cracks.” A medical bill, a car repair, clothes needed after a house fire, a wheelchair for a young man injured while being a Good Samaritan – this is the type of assistance offered by the Nice Guys. Mike is on the board of NARI, whose Core Purpose is to advance and promote the remodeling industry’s professionalism, product and vital public purpose. Mike has been involved in many local charities, most recently the Taylor Church Project and Clifford Animal Foundation. www.sdnari.org
